This started with a simple frustration. If you wanted to plan a day out across South Australia's wine regions, the information was scattered, incomplete, and stuck in the wrong format.

The problem

Existing wine directories tend to be patchy and region-locked — full coverage of one area, nothing for the next, and key details like opening hours, tasting fees or whether a cellar door is even open to the public simply missing. Where the data does exist, it's often trapped in PDF brochures you can't search, filter or map, frequently out of date, and not built for how people actually look things up today — on a phone, on the move, wanting to know what's open right now.

The idea

So we're having a go at it: a single, interactive guide to cellar doors across South Australia that you can search, filter by region, wine style, hours and more, and view on a map. It's free, works offline, and is built to stay current rather than gather dust.

Community-maintained

Hours and details change, and no small project can keep every listing perfect on its own — so this is a community resource. Many entries are flagged as missing details precisely because they still need checking, and every card has a “Suggest an edit” link. If you know a venue, you can help fill the gaps.
